Installation
Due to the variety of tasks and the high complexity, I find my job extremely exciting. There are very many constellations of SAP systems and databases. Each installation, migration and update brings new aspects and challenges. It is precisely these challenges that are important to me, so that I can continue to learn and develop professionally on a daily basis.

To add additional permissions for defined groups in the launchpad to PFCG roles, follow the steps described above. This time, you only select a "SAP Fiori tile group" instead of a "SAP Fiori tile catalogue". There are very few differences between permissions. Fiori Eligibility for OData Services The launch authorisation for the OData service stored in the backend from a Fiori app is queried on both the front-end and back-end servers when the application is launched. Therefore, this permission must be added to the appropriate role on both servers. The typical sequence of clicking on a Fiori app in the launchpad triggers the following steps: 1) When selecting the tile, the app Fiori implementation is called 2) The app retrieves dynamic data from the HTTP endpoint of the OData service on the frontend server from 3) An RFC call to the gateway activation of the backend system is followed, retrieving the relevant business logic 4) Now the Fiori permission for the corresponding OData service is queried on the backend 5) If this was successful the appropriate business logic permissions are queried in the OData service. To add the Fiori permission to run a OData service for an app to a role, please perform the following steps: In the PFCG, open the appropriate role in Change mode, perform steps on the following screenshot: 1) Select Menu tab 2) Arrow next to the "Transaction" button click 3) Select Permissions proposal.
SAP ALE
How are blockchain and digital currencies related? Blockchain technology provides the basis for the existence of a decentralised digital currency. Such a currency is an application that can be executed on the basis of an underlying blockchain. However, the blockchain offers many more applications, such as ownership, identification, communication, etc. , all of which want to get rid of a central controlling party. Blockchain: is the immutable transaction history of a decentralised community. Cryptocurrency: An application of blockchain technology to use a blockchain to secure information about the currency via cryptography. What is Mining? Mining is one of the most misunderstood things about cryptocurrencies. Most people believe that mining is a process in which a cryptocurrency is created. But that is wrong. Mining is a process in a decentralised system to build consensus. Consensus means consent and agreement on what happened and what didn't. In a central system, the central institution does that. For example, a bank with all its advantages and disadvantages. In a decentralised system, the Community decides. To avoid any disagreements, "Mining" is used as one of the possibilities.

In these cases, you will quickly get the problem under control with a manual user synchronization. This is because the user synchronization checks which roles are assigned to a user and then assigns the current, matching profile. You can run this user synchronization either manually or (my recommendation!) automatically as a background job:

Some missing SAP basic functions in the standard are supplied by the PC application "Shortcut for SAP Systems".

In the initial screen, you can first use the global settings to specify whether changes should be allowed in general.

Have you ever wondered what there is actually a tab personalisation for role maintenance in the PFCG or for user data maintenance in the SU01? I will answer this question for you in this blog post.
