SAP Basis is characterized by a three-layer model and consists of the following layers:

Select the transport order from the development system that was rejected in the quality system. This is technically repackaged into the Q-System in a new order and transported to the quality system. Application layer: The application layer is the core of an R/3 SAP Basis system. This layer communicates in both directions, to the presentation layer and to the database layer. The application programs on the application servers request the required data from the database layer, process it, prepare it for the user and pass it on to the presentation layer. Data that the user enters in the SAP GUI is passed on to the database via the application servers.

The IoT Consortium, which includes Bosch Ltd, Cisco Systems Inc, is investigating how blockchain technology can be used to secure and improve IoT networks. More than 120 financial, banking, IoT and industrial companies have joined the Hyperledger (Enterprise Ethereum Alliance) consortium. The database layer is where all of a company's data is stored. In essence, it consists of a database management system (DBMS for short) and the data itself.
Tools such as "Shortcut for SAP Systems" complement missing functions in the SAP basis area.
After all, each SAP Basis expert sees different transactions as important.
With the Security Audit Log (SAL) you have the possibility to log all changes, e.g. for users, user master records, but also roles and groups.
