SAP Basis administrators still spend much of their time reviewing their systems or doing project work such as new installations. With the transition to more automated, container-based environments that span multiple clouds, the role of the administrator will also need to be redefined and root cause analysis will take on a much higher profile.

However, the system modifiability has no influence on customising changes that are customised by the client. If you want to set the customising changes to customise, you must go to the client control. As part of the SAP Basis team, you will be the contact person for organizational and technical questions of the universities and in 3rd-level support for user inquiries.
