After clicking on this button, you will see the current ZBV status in the area of the same name and can release the selected system from the ZBV via the Run button. ZBV is no longer active for this subsidiary system. To avoid inconsistencies in the user master kits, you must reconcile the users in the daughter system after the ZBV is activated. You can do this in the transaction SCUG and transfer user data from the subsidiary system to the central system. Information on the technical requirements can be found in SAP Note 962457. To disable the ZBV completely, use the RSDELCUA report or the Delete button in the transaction SCUA. With this function you have the possibility to delete either only certain subsidiary systems from the ZBV or the complete ZBV.
Two equal permissions that meet the first maintenance status condition are also combined when all the values of the two permissions differ in one field or when a permission with all its fields is included in the other. However, if there are open permission fields in a permission, they will not be combined unless all permission fields in the permission values are the same.
Preventing sprawl with the workload monitor
Role selection for mass transport uses the default value help, which offers the Multiple Selection button. Thus, you no longer have to go through the Value Helper (F4) to perform multiple selection of roles, and the restriction of selected roles to the visible rows is eliminated.
Although it is possible to create profiles manually, it is recommended to work with the profile generator. The Profile Generator allows you to automatically create profiles and assign them to user master records. The Profile Generator is used to simplify and speed up user administration and should always be used when setting up authorizations for your employees. The Profile Generator is also used to set up the user menus that appear when users log on to the SAP system.
The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".
However, you should not use this user for them, nor for batch processes, but you must create other users for these applications.
Delete and recreate the profile and permissions All permissions are created anew.
