Authorization object: Authorization objects are groups of authorization fields that control a specific activity. Authorization objects should always be defined in advance with the user group and then relate to a specific action within the system.

Over the course of time, many companies experience profound changes in the framework conditions that significantly influence SAP® authorization management. Not uncommon are subsequent requirements from the area of compliance (SOX or similar) or the increased need for protection.

We advise you not to use the self-set password with a self-service as a generated password is more secure.
