User administration (transaction SU01)
Make sure that reference users are assigned minimal permissions to avoid overreaching dialogue user permissions. There should be no reference users with permissions that are similar to the SAP_ALL profile.

You can also monitor security alerts from the Security Audit Log via the Alert Monitoring of your Computing Centre Management System (CCMS). The security warnings generated correspond to the audit classes of the events defined in the Security Audit Log. Many companies also have the requirement to present the events of the Security Audit Log in other applications. This requires evaluation by external programmes, which can be done via the XML Metadata Interchange (XMI) BAPIs. You must follow the XMI interface documentation to configure it. You can also use the RSAU_READ_AUDITLOG_ EXTERNAL sample programme as a template. A description of this programme can be found in SAP Note 539404.
Customising User and Permissions Management
You can find the evaluation methods in table T77AW. A valid evaluation method for our example is US_ACTGR. To assign the roles indirectly, the following requirements are required: Organisational management must be active, i.e. you must have defined an active plan variant in the client. To be able to use the employee-user connection in a SAPERP-HCM system, Info Type 0105 (Communication) and Subtype 0001 (User ID) must be maintained. To enable role management via organisational management, you must set the HR_ORG_ACTIVE switch in the PRGN_CUST table to YES in the Customising.

If a user does not have a print permission for an output device (S_SPO_DEV privilege object), an instant print flag may be rescinded, which means that a spool job created during the job step would not print immediately. If archive parameters are passed when scheduling a step, a check is performed on the object S_WFAR_PRI. If the Step user does not have a matching permission, an error message is displayed.

The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".

If you want to use reference users and use the User menu, you should also ensure that users also see the role menus associated with reference users.

Furthermore, you have the option to select the ZBV's subsidiary systems from the Receive System drop-down box in such a way that only the systems in which the role assignment is to be consolidated or deleted are taken into account.
