Retain the values of the permission trace to the role menu
Development
The P_ABAP (HR-Reporting) authorization object is not required to execute reports, but is intended to improve performance during execution. In addition, it can be used when reports require permissions for info types that the user should not receive in other cases, which is more common. For example, the right to display information type 0008 (basic salary) is also required for the execution of the travel statement reports. The Invoice Payer Programmes also require P_ABAP permissions to process personal data.

Different users in your SAP system will have different password rules, password changes, and login restrictions. The new security policy allows you to define these user-specific and client-specific. It happens again and again that there are special requirements for password rules, password changes and login restrictions for different users in your SAP system. There may be different reasons for this.
SAP S/4HANA: Analysis and simple adjustment of your authorizations
As part of the SAP Access Control solution, the Business Role Management component serves the central role management. In addition to other useful functions, it also offers the automation of mass maintenance of role withdrawals. To do this, you must first place the organisational matrix in the customising (transaction SPRO), i.e. you enter the values or value ranges in the Organisation Level Mapping details area for the different organisation fields. At this point, however, you do not specify which reference roles should be derived for these organisational values.

The SAP Code Vulnerability Analyser can be used to scan both custom on-premise and on-demand applications programmed in ABAP. The SAP Code Vulnerability Analyser is included with SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02; an installation is not necessary. For details on the relevant support packages, please refer to SAP Notes 1921820 and 1841643. You do not need additional servers or additional administration. You can activate the SAP Code Vulnerability Analyser with the RSLIN_SEC_LICENSE_SETUP report, but you have to pay additional royalties for it.

Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

By correcting SAP Note 1692243, you can now also use the report in a ZBV (Central User Management) environment; It is no longer limited to individual clients.

Use the RSUSR003 standard report (or RSUSR003 transaction) to validate the default users for initial passwords and ensure the security policies associated with those users.
