Permissions with status
In order for these FIORI apps/tiles and groups to be displayed, the corresponding authorizations must be made on the basis of a group and catalog assignment. These are assigned via specific groups, which in addition to the normal authorizations (such as create, change, display cost centers) also assign access to the appropriate FIORI Apps.

DDIC: DDIC is the only user able to log in or make changes to the ABAP Dictionary during installations and release changes. It is also used in the client 000, e.g. for certain jobs or Unicode conversions. DDIC exists in all clients except 066. Safeguard measures: In all systems (except for client 000 due to upgrade features), set DDIC to the System user type. If necessary, you can switch it back to a dialogue user using the Emergency User. Change the password, assign the user to the SUPER user group, and log it with the Security Audit Log.
Law-critical authorizations
First, the Web application developers must implement appropriate permission checks and make PFCG available for use in role maintenance in the transaction. This includes the maintenance of proposed values in the transaction SU22. The SAP Note 1413012 (new reusable startup authorisation check) provides all the necessary details.

Wildgrowth of characters used in user IDs can have negative effects. Set a bar on it by limiting the character set in the first place. In the SAP system, depending on the release of the SAP_BASIS software component, you can create users whose names may contain "alternative" spaces. In Unicode systems, there are different spaces, which are represented by different hexadecimal values. The usual space has a hexadecimal value of 20, but there are alternative spaces (wide spaces), which can be recognised, for example, as double width or not at all as character spacing. You can use these alternate spaces when entering the user ID by pressing the Alt key. For example, the key combination (Alt) + 0160 can create a space with a non-breaking space. You can also create a user whose ID consists only of alternate spaces. Users with such IDs will write all change documents, but the IDs can still cause confusion if, for example, they are not recognisable as a user ID or if it appears that no user is displayed for the change document. In addition, certain special characters may cause problems in other applications (e.g. in transport management). Therefore, we will show you how to prevent such problems by limiting the character set.

For the assignment of existing roles, regular authorization workflows require a certain minimum of turnaround time, and not every approver is available at every go-live. With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you have options to assign urgently needed authorizations anyway and to additionally secure your go-live.

The actual downloading of the usage data is then performed using the function block SWNC_COLLECTOR_GET_AGGREGATES.

Up to now, the values of customer-owned applications had to be either manually maintained in the PFCG role, or the suggested values maintenance in the transaction SU24 was performed manually.
