Use Custom Permissions
Statistical data of other users
Even the best authorization tools cannot compensate for structural and strategic imbalances. Even a lack of know-how about SAP authorizations cannot be compensated for cost-effectively by means of tools.

Since SAP NetWeaver 7.02, such a feature is available, which means that you can access the data from the system trace to maintain PFCG roles. In the following we show you how you can apply the permission values from the permission trace to your role. To do this, you must first record applications against their permission checks and then add them to your role menu.
Controlling permissions for the SAP NetWeaver Business Client
Many tools that offer to simplify care operations of the transaction PFCG work Excel-based. The complete roll data is stored and processed in Excel. Then the Excel file is uploaded with a special programme and generates roles and role changes. While this all looks very comfortable (and probably is at first), it has its drawbacks in the long run.

In the TPC6 transaction, set the periods to be reviewed. In the example shown in the figure below, a group of auditors from North Rhine-Westphalia would be active for the accounting area or cost accounting area (OrgUnit) 1000. In the 2000 accounting area and the 2000 HR accounting area, a Hessen-based payroll tax auditor group would operate.

For the assignment of existing roles, regular authorization workflows require a certain minimum of turnaround time, and not every approver is available at every go-live. With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you have options to assign urgently needed authorizations anyway and to additionally secure your go-live.

It must be clarified in advance what constitutes a recognized "emergency" in the first place and which scenarios do not yet justify activating the highly privileged user.

In order to ensure that you can set the mixing mode for the respective roles directly when maintaining the data in the transaction SU24, the function has been provided here with the respective support packages named in SAP Note 1896191.
