Multicloud: the systems involved with different hyperscalers
With TM-TMS, an SAP add-on is offered that largely automates manual user interventions during a system copy and thus relieves the developers/customizing users. Cross-user developments are processed in one package, ensuring consistency. The entire process consists of three areas.

The process of creating system copies for updates can be broken down into different activities, as shown in Table 1. For each group, the software used for automation is shown, where "UC4" stands for UC4 Automated System Copy and "HP" stands for HP System Copy. All these activity groups are described individually below.
Verification of source system status and infrastructure - analysis of software versions, database disk layout, system status, etc.
An SAP system copy is a process in which an exact copy of an existing SAP system is created. This copy can be used to run tests, perform development, or back up the system.

The solution does not use software agents. The use of standard protocols for the interaction of tool (client/server) and source system and tool with target system has proven itself, exclusively for the purpose of system copy creation. Whereby the use of a single point of management and control has also proven its worth.

"Shortcut for SAP Systems" provides an automated solution for many of the tasks involved in copying SAP systems by enabling the backup and restore of any table.

An SAP system copy usually includes both the copy of the database and the copy of the file systems that contain the SAP system.

The entire process consists of three areas.
